MYSTERY TOUR 2018
Members enjoyed a great day out on 12 July leaving Sidmouth by coach at 9 am. The driver took us via Starcross and Dawlish, passing through the Powderham Estate where we saw a number of herds of fallow deer. Our first stop was Teignmouth where we stopped for an hour to explore and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Coleton Fishacre
Our journey continued to Dartmouth to the National Trust property of Coleton Fishacre. The weather was warm and sunny and members enjoyed their lunch in the outside seating area. Most then explored the house in search of some shade and then wandered around the beautiful and extensive gardens. A number of members managed to walk down the steep path to the cove while others chose to enjoy an ice cream or a cream tea. The coach left at 4 pm and everyone was delighted with the choice of venue and thanked Shirley Reeves for organising such a wonderful Mystery Tour.
