The business of the AGM commenced with a review of the 2014 resolution
The NFWI notes that three people die every day whilst waiting for an organ transplant. We call on
every member of the WI to make their wishes regarding organ donation known, and to encourage
their families and friends, and members of their local communities to do likewise.
There was unanimous support from the membership for the resolution.
Marian and Beryl agreed to remain in office for the next year but both stated that this would be their last year. Three new members were voted to the committee Pat Hague, Shirley Reeves and Jennifer Dixon.
Christine Bull announcing the winner of the Competition Cup, noted that the 2 people who had entered every competition this year had come first and second.

Julia will be leading a walk on 16th June, details to follow.
A new members evening will be held on 14th July.
